Another Dino Adventure

I went to Star City last December 14.  The place really changed a lot since the last the time I visited there in ??? (hehehe I can’t even remember when was that). One thing that never changed, was that it is still overly crowded.   I arrived Star City past 7pm already so you can imagined the volume of people already inside.  Though there were many who were still getting their tickets, you don’t need to wait that long.   Inside, the first thing that you will see are merchandise stalls.  As you go along, there where food stalls, game booths and of course those rides from safe ones to dangerous ones. Of course,  I did not even think of riding any of them.  I went there to check out the Snow World and this Dino Island.   

My first stop was the Dino Island.  The concept is the same as the Dinos Alive show in Mall of Asia.  The difference was that the design of the dinosaurs was not that alive-looking.  There were a limited number of dinosaur displays. And, the fee here is quite lower.  For just Php 160, you can already see several dinosaurs.  One thing that I praised at this show was that they managed to put up a short description of the dinosaurs.  Thus, one can read some information on each of the dinosaurs there.  The tour was about 30 to an hour long.  At the exit, you can still check out the Dino Museum, which displays dinosaur fossils, rocks, etc.

 

After the Dino tour, my next stop was the Snow World.  It displays different ice carvings having a temperature of below 0 degree centigrade.  Place is soo cold and bringing in cameras, videos are not allowed.  They’ve set up watchers to look for violators.  Since you’re not allowed to take pictures inside, they’ve put up photographers for those who would want to have a souvenir inside Snow World.  Price is Php100 but the thing is, you’ll not be able to get the picture immediately.   After, having my picture taken, I already went out.  I could no not stay even longer because of the cold. 

 

As I went out to go home, I looked back and see how Star City have changed.  Its look, its rides, game booths etc.  But surely at this time of the year, which Star City only opens,   you can really expect people bringing in their families and friends to share the fun that this “City” brings to everyone.
