PHOTOHUNT: Aftermath
January 10, 2009Several typhoons pass the Philippines in a year. After a typhoon, this is the result :
Our backyard was flooded with water. The last typhoon that we experienced in 2008, the water rose up to our waist and it even went inside the house (you can just imagine how high the water went up and how long the water dried up). Since the water is high, you can see fish swimming inside :) and you can even catch one like the one in the picture
This is my entry in this week’s Photo Hunt.

Our country should really have a better flood control system.

Posted by June at January 10, 2009, 8:11 pmExcellent contribution to the theme. I used a similar example with a photograph I took on a visit to Grenada in the Caribbean.

Posted by witsandnuts at January 11, 2009, 4:44 pm@ sainr3: yes normally it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the water to subside.
