PHOTOHUNT: Aftermath

Several typhoons pass the Philippines in a year.  After  a typhoon, this is the result :

 

 

   

Our backyard was flooded with water. The last typhoon that we experienced in 2008, the water rose up to our waist and it even went inside the house (you can just imagine how high the water went up and how long the water dried up).  Since the water is high, you can see fish swimming inside :)  and you can even catch one like the one in the picture

PHOTO HUNT: Hope

“…A thrill of hope

The weary world rejoices

For yonder breaks

A new and glorious morn…”

 

 

I believe the song above and the picture below depicts this week’s Photo Hunt Theme.  We’ve all experienced a lot of things last 2008 and the biggest one is the global crisis.  But as the lyrics from the Christmas Song Oh Holy Night, it tells us that there is hope.  Hope that we all can survive and stand up in all the hardships that we have or will meet a long the way.  As long as we believe, as long as we are optimistic, as long as we have faith in HIM and in our own selves, we will all have a new and glorious 2009 a head of us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In another picture below, the message being conveyed to us is clear that there is still hope for the eagles, and the other animals to survive and that is to save the forest where they live.  But, that’s not all, we not only save the forest, but we are also saving our own planet from being destroyed.
