Lolo Dads Brasserie

My friend and I met last Friday for a pre-valentine celebration.  Instead of having a plain dinner at Avenetto, Marina, etc., she decided to treat me to Lolo Dads at 6750.  Well, it’s her birthday last February 9 and we’ve already thinking of dining at this restaurant sometime in January.  I’ve heard about Lolo Dads at Anton’s post and his review about the restaurant is good.

 

 

The interior of the restaurant is just simple.  For me it’s like dining in a hotel’s restaurant.  The ambiance is cozy and not to loud compared to other restaurants where you cannot here one another because of the noise.  So if you like a quite dinner, this restaurant is a good one.  The flower arrangement displayed at the entrance caught my attention.  The flower is the so-called “Mickey Mouse” flower which I saw in Davao.

 

  

  

 

As we are browsing the menu, we can’t choose what to order.  Well, one, the price of the food is expensive. Although, since it’s a treat, it is still ok (hahaha).  We decided to have a pasta, fish and a dessert.

 

For pasta we ordered a Smoked Salmon Fettucine with Egg Omelet.  I was supposedly going to tell to the attendant to have it served into two but then when it was served, it will ruin the presentation and at the same time the serving is just good for one person.  The Omelet is super.  Taste like pizza since it’s placed on a pannini bread.  Those who have small stomach as my friend and on a diet like me (hahaha) this serving is good.

Our second course is the Roasted Whole  Rainbow Trout (Salmon).  I definitely like this one.  The taste and the crispiness of the fish is just perfect

Lastly, for our dessert, we have a Chocolate Almond Segafredo.  The attendant said that this is their best seller.  It comes also with two popsicles.  The chocolate almond is so delicious.  The powdery chocolate mixed with almond nuts is a must try.  The popsicle is not so good for me, well it’s so sour.
