Healthy Eating at Piquant
February 26, 2009
The food trippers tried out another resto in Makati. This time its Piquant at RCBC Plaza. So funny since when I was still working at RCBC, I never got the chance to dine at any of the restaurants there

Food Trippers
Piquant offers nutritious food. It’s menu has been developed with one primary goal in mind: delicious food prepared in a healthy way. We went out for lunch early so that we can get a seat. One of us even tried to get a reservation but unfortunately, they don’t accept reservation. Gladly upon arriving there, plenty of seats are still available. However, by lunch time, all seats were already starting to be filled up.

Piquant can serve a limited number of seats only so you better be there early to have your lunch in order to be seated. There are also a few seats outside but surely, one would like to dine inside
The furnitures and design is simple. strikingly, since the place is just small, their counter is elevated.
Since all of us were hungry already we ordered the following:
Shrimp Mango Salad (Php 190.00) made with lettuce, shrimps and mango strips
Puree Pumpkin Soup (Php 70.00)
Pasta Aglio (Php 175.00) made with olive oil, garlic, tomato, shrimp topped with fresh basil
Wheat Pasta Aglio (Php 208.00)
Spicy Shrimp Pasta (Php 220.00) made with white sauce, shrip, dried basil and chili.
I just noticed that all our orders have shrimp (lol). We all have a sumptuous lunch that day. i never even felt full after that. As we are about to finish eating, we decided to have our dessert at Kopi Roti, located at The Columns across RCBC Buendia side.
