2009 Aliwan Festival / WW April 19-25

I was fortunate to be able to watch the 2009 Aliwan Festival last April 25, 2009.  Thanks to Litratong Pinoy  (separate post on this one) for using this event as the venue for the EB.  The Aliwan Festival is an annual event which show cases the artistic forms (dancers, musicians, and artisans) of the Filipino.  This event starts at the stretch of CCP Complex  and this year, the awarding ceremony took place at the Quirino Grandstand.  Massive contingents of streetdancers are accompanied by gigantic floats along with their respective muses.  The parade depicts the most popular festivals that are celebrated within the Philippines.

colorful ang parade ano, nic emga shots mo.. nice meeting you pala.. oo nga till night nagkikita kami .. i went home 7 pm na at grabe umulan pa i reached home at 1030pm na .. ikaw?
