PHOTOHUNT: Book(s)
May 30, 2009
These are the many books Our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal have written and they are on display inside the Fort Santiago.
One of his famous book was the El Filibusterismo. This is the 2nd book Rizal has written, a sequel of Noli Me Tangere.
LP: Alam Mo Ba?

LP: Lahat Ay Payak
May 21, 2009
Dito, “Lahat Ay Payak”. Napaka-sarap tumira, malayo sa magulong buhay sa maynila.
Breakfast at Max’s
May 20, 2009I was not supposed to eat breakfast today since i’m still full from the food that I ate last night (chowfan, kangkong and siomai from Chowking). But then my officemate asked me what I like her to buy me at Max’s since she’ll eat there. Then, the thought of their chicken was so inviting so i joined her. hehehehe.
I’ve never been to Max’s along Ayala Ave. It’s small but I find it very cozy. I wanted to try their longaniza platter but I don’t want to eat rice. They don’t have the mini serving for the longganiza yet (hindi daw pwedeng i-mini kasi assorted yung longganiza) so I decided to try their vegetable omelete.

I was thinking that since it’s vegetable, there will only be veggies inside. but then, when I ate it, there are diced ham too. There is only one vegetable and it’s only diced green bell pepper which is over powering to me. Well, masarp naman ang butter nila hehehe.
Hayyy i’m so full na naman
Have a great day !!!

Abs-Cbn got the rights to show this and it started airing last Monday, May 11 at around 10 pm. I really waited for this one since they started showing preview of the show. I was thinking before that they will aire it in the afternoon. Good thing they put it on a primetime slot
I love the show and it’s really quite similar to the Meteor Garden. Even the leader of the F4 has similarities with Jerry Yan (Dao Ming Si). Ang cute nya in short. hahaha.
But then, come Thursday, May 14, under the SNN show, they announced that they will change the the timeslot from 10pm to 6pm. They will move the Go Bingo Nights show in the 10pm slot and will place the Boys Over Flower to the 6pm slot. They’re saying that many requested it to have it moved to an earlier timeslot but I don’t believe it.
Oh well after hearing that i went to buy a pirated dvd (hehehe) this afternoon so that i will not miss it anymore. Gladly, the place where I bought the copy still have stocks. After buying, I went back to the office and immediately played it in my laptop. In short, pinanuod ko cya agad hehehe. I’m actually watching it while finishing an E-Learning due today. hahahaha. I just can’t wait to go home and watch it there.
The good side of showing it earlier is that i can already watch fully CSI New York and CSI on Tuesdays and Wednesdays without having the change the channel back and forth
So now, I’ll continue watching.
Spaghetti Factory
May 13, 2009Italian Restaurant is always appealing to me. That is why when I saw Spaghetti Factory at the 3rd level of Glorietta 5, I invited my friend to have our dinner there. Incidentally when we were already at the resto, she remembered this restaurant to be the one situated at Glorietta 1. I said to her “Ah ito yung maliit lang na resto duon papuntang sinehan”. Well, they’re no longer small and I find their place at Glorietta 5 very relaxing.
Since my friend has a small stomach (hehehe) we shared everything that we ordered.
Chicken Wings, Factory Style
Pan Fried covered with herb spices (Php 109.00)
The chicken wings is so good. Sadly it is small
Pesto Classic
Basil, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, walnut, parmesan & cream (Php 159.00)
I’ve never tried pesto with cream and this one again for me is good (hindi nakakasawa). What surpised me was that when I asked for an extra parmesan cheese, they did not give me a grated parmesan cheese on a cup. But instead, they grated the parmesan cheese directly on our pasta. Also, if you ask for a pepper, they’ll not give you a pepper but they will be the one to put the pepper on your pasta using this big, long pepper crusher.
Tiramisu
Coffee soaked ladyfingers in mascarpone-cheese cream mix covered in chocolate (Php 89.00)

Need to come back and try their other pastas and pizzas.
PHOTOHUNT: In Memory
May 9, 2009This week’s theme is “In Memory” and below are the pictures I took at San Agustin Museum. The San Agustin Museum located beside the San Agustin Church inside the historic walled city of Intramuros in Manila. There was an area there where you will see tombs of the Filipino men and women who were brutally killed during world war II.

LP: Simula Pa Lamang / My Pictures Were Featured

Wow i can’t believe this, I’m actually seeing some of my photos in the newspaper.
Every Tuesday, Manila Bulletin has this section called Picture Perfect which features famous photographers, tips on photography and pictures from various photo enthusiasts. Mr. Raffy Paredes, has a column in Picture Perfect called “Through A Lens, Clearly”. In his column, he features photos submitted by his avid readers. Before, I only read and be amazed on the photos there and i said to myself that someday, one of my photos will also be featured.
two weeks ago, some pictures of my friend were featured and i was surprised that she did not tell me that she submitted some of her photos. Well, i was happy too because, her photos were really good. She told me to try and submit some. Though, I was still hesitant on what photos to give. Coz I know that there are far more better photos there than mine. But anyway, i looked on my files and checked my collections and here were the ones i’ve chosen to submit:

Last week, I received an email from Mr. Paredes informing me that my pictures will be in his May 5 column. From the above pictures, 4 have been chosen and they are.

And this is the text:
