PHOTOHUNT: Tied

October 23, 2009

Tie a yellow ribbon ’round the old oak tree
It’s been three long years
Do you still want me?
If I don’t see a ribbon round the old oak tree
I’ll stay on the bus
Forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don’t see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree

Yellow ribbons were seen tied in every corners of the street during the time the late President Corazon C. Aquino got hospitalized up until her funeral.

Great picture. I remember when there were yellow ribbons all over the US because of the war. You don’t really see many anymore.

Oh great. Now I’ve got that song stuck in my head. Is this revenge for the name of my blog?

It’s one of my favorite songs by Tony Orlando, beautiful and vibrant and very meaningful. Btw,I, too tied a Yellow Ribbon for Tita Cory when she was ill.
